Each year the Black Women for Black Girls Giving Circle® (BW4BG) together with the Youth Development Foundation (YDF) hosts a college shower and award a $1,000 scholarship for five (5) black girls from New York City who are graduating college-bound seniors.

THE COLLEGE SHOWER is our way of counteracting the allure of teen baby showers and promoting the importance of education as a means of increasing the probability of successful life outcomes.
